Description
Plants have a short stem, and tend to be small.  The head is globe in shape, very uniform, and is very firm and solid.  Coloration is gray-green in color.  Head reaches a diameter of 6-7 inches, and a weight of approximately 3 pounds.

Comments
This variety is slow to bolt.  It is suitable to use in close spacing.  Golden Acre is an early variety grown primarily for late spring and early summer harvest.
