Waltham Butternut
 

Description
The plant is vine-like in its habits, and very vigorous.  The fruit is bulbous in shape, and tan in color.  The rind is hard and tough, having a smooth texture.  The interior is a light yellow to orange color, having flesh that is medium dry with good texture and flavor.  The fruit size averages 8 in. long by 3.5 in. wide.
