Description:
Alfalfa GVS HQ9622 is a cultivar adapted to Low desert irrigated production areas. This cultivar is very nondormant (group 9) and highly resistant to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum), pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum), spotted alfalfa aphid (Therioaphis maculata), blue alfalfa aphid (Acyrthosiphon kondoi) and root knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita).
Disease Tolerance:
It is has moderate resistant to Phytophthora root rot (Phytophthora megasperma) and to both Southern and Northern Root Knot Nematode.
